I really enjoyed book 3. The author throws in a lot of curve balls and keeps you guessing what is going to happen next. It has a lot of laughs, sadness, suspense, and surprises...all making for a great read. Keep up the great work! Can't wait to see what direction the author takes book 4 from the twist he threw in at the end.
Path of fire is great! Make sure you read the previous 2 books first or it can be confusing. The ending was unexpected
I guess the longer he takes, the better the book. It really was a great read. I'll have to go back and read the first two because the name Kaden sounds familiar. Lots of action, and some romance.
Kris is really coming into his own and finding the niche in his storytelling. This book is the best in the series thus far. The author does a great job of showing the internal struggles Treace faces while trying to balance fighting a war, having a relationship, and figuring out who he can and cannot trust. Without spoiling anything, the ending makes me extremely excited to see where this story will go after this book.
I loved the first book, sorta liked the second book, and absolutely hated this book. The characters are inconsistent the magic system in never explained well and the whole plot becomes rediculous with all these subplots that go nowhere. The final battle is dumb the big fight literally just sizzles out. Maybe things are going to be tied up in later books, but I don't care anymore.
Good read; give us more.
The series started great. At about 7/8 through the first book it started to go downhill. I foolishly continued to the end of the third book. So much promise at first, so disappointed from there...
